Miscellaneous Crochet Notes

Here is a pic of Lulu modeling Scooter's party boa. Our niece had a birthday party for her Yorkie. All K-9 guests were asked to dress for the event. Scooter is a nudist. Getting her to wear the boa was a challenge. She refused to model it here so Lulu did the honors.

It's made of fun fur. I made a chain long enough to go around Scooter's neck with wiggle room. The pearl beads were to0 small to thread beforehand so I handstitched them on once I was done. After the chain, I made one row of double-crochet stitches with a loop at the end. I used a medium size pearl button as a closure.

The next item is a purse I made to go with a poncho I made for one of my daughter's friends. I wish I had a pic of the poncho. It was, of course, done in the same colors. All my purses have liners with my "hand made" tag.

And last on this blog for today is my cone spin. My DH watched me crocheting one night using my one pound cone. He went to his shop and came back with my favorite crochet toy. So simple and inexpensive yet makes my crocheting so easy!
