This is my oldest daughter, Katie, with an lapghan I made for her. She chose the pattern and colors. She loves all colors, and this variety is eye catching.
I entered this afghan into the 2008 South Carolina State Fair Fancy Craft other crocheted granny square department. It took 2nd place!
Here is Katie with her 3rd place entry into the amateur Fine Arts division of the SC State Fair in the print category. The pic she printed is my Daddy with his guitar. Needless to say this will hang in my parents' home.
My sister is 39 and won 1st place in the exceptional adults category with her half double crochet afghan. I hope to post a pic of her and the afghan once she goes to the fair and sees her ribbon. She is SO happy!
I waited so long to enter. So I say to you, DO IT! No charge - only fun and satisfaction!
